So this is how the conversation went when I went for a coffee at The Clock this morning...
Barista:: (To me) Do you want to hear a beautiful thing?
Clock Dave:: Hey. Not now, can't you see we're busy.
[I look around. Two people sit idling at a table. There is no one else in the queue. The rest of the place is empty.]
Me:: Hey c'mon Dave. You can't piss on a beautiful thing...
Clock Dave:: Fair enough. Go on then, what is it?
Barista:: Ok, so I've got a five and half year old daughter, and last night she couldn't sleep. So I got a bowl of blueberries and told her these were DreamBerries. Each one has a different dream inside: that berry will make you fly, eat that one and you'll meet fairies and so on. She had a few, and fell asleep right away.
The next morning she was telling me her dreams over breakfast, still excited by the prospect of dreams in her berries.

And if that's not a beautiful thing, I don't know what is.
